Sales Executive – Van Monster Dublin

Exciting Opportunity to join Van Monster Ireland (operating in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork). We sell second hand vans in all shapes and sizes to businesses and private individuals. We stock a huge selection of models from leading manufacturers like Ford, VW, and Mercedes-Benz with a variety of mileages, all no more than 3 years old and with a full-service history.

From large to small, Van Monster has the best selection of used commercial vehicles, all of which are available to view online or at our branches.

We are now recruiting for Sales Executive who can take their career to the next level within a leading company to help the business meet its ambitious growth targets.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • To deliver targeted retail sales numbers.
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets and delivering exemplary customer service consistently to all current and potential customers.
  • Responsibility for all relevant financial payments received and made.
  • Full responsibility for all sale process from customer engagement, sale order take to handover.
  • Manage vehicle/site security and ID checks on test drive.
  • Responsible for site company branding, display of marketing material, vehicle display and preparation and complying with all Van Monster standards, policies and procedures.
  • Undertake all duties and tasks as directed from Van Monster Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for converting new business opportunities in-line with group objectives.
  • Accurately appraise, value, and sell all trade ins/Part exchanges for the Dublin branch. 
  • Ensure all customer experiences are positive, handled in a timely and professional manner delivering the company aim of being the first choice destination for customers in our markets. 
  • Responsible for customer service/sales, phone enquiries, first point of contact and generating own new business.
  • Maximise the number of vehicles ready for sale, and display on Van Monster Website. 
  • Manage website, ensure right stock and details are advertised at all times accurately reflecting current stock available.
  • Comply with the all fleet audit regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with National Sales teams/sales & marketing function.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor and customer activity and proactive use of CRM. 
  • Lead generation and follow up.
  • Ensure retail site presentation and housekeeping standards, signage & use of marketing materials.
  • Work collaboratively with the company Health & Safety Advisor and assist in the completion of Health & Safety audits.

Person Profile

Essential

  • Must be qualified to a minimum of Leaving Certificate in English and Maths or equivalent. 
  • Previous training in Sales & Customer Service.
  • Highly numerate and literate.
  • IT literate & competent.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Minimum 2 years and demonstrable experience of delivering Sales & Marketing activity
  • Excellent Customer Service skills including relationship building.
  • Proven ability to perform in a pressured environment.
  • Enthusiastic personality.
  • Good team player.

Desirable

  • Further qualification in Business/Sale/Marketing 
  • Proven Sales Experience in the Vehicle Retail Sector.

CPC Driver

Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for almost 20 years. We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.

Our growing network of branches in Ireland and our sizeable fleet means we can get vehicles to customers quicker than any other light commercial vehicle supplier and we keep those vehicles on the road longer by minimising downtime. Our vehicle fleet is made up of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from leading manufacturers including Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen and Peugeot.

We are now recruiting for Driver who can take their career to the next level within a leading and growing fleet management company to help the business meet its ambitious growth targets.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • To contribute positively and effectively to the growth of the Branch and to achieving Branch targets
  • Delivery of hire vehicles to customers including compilation of hire documentation, licences, payment and hand over procedures
  • Assist with fleet and de-fleet of vehicles. 
  • To ensure that all vehicles are thoroughly checked and cleaned to Rentable Standards and provide exceptional customer service at all times by acting in a professional and helpful manner and supporting the branch and team in achieving KPIs. 
  • Responsible and accountable for preparation of vehicles to the highest standards for rental.
  • To assist and provide cover for other Rental Department positions as and when required
  • To enhance the company’s reputation for outstanding professional service through high standards of housekeeping, personal behaviour, presentation and image.

Assistant Rental & Service Manager

We are now recruiting for an Assistant Rental & Service Manager who can take their career to the next level within a leading and growing fleet management company to help the business meet its ambitious growth targets.

Role Overview:

To ensure all daily rental operational processes are carried out effectively and rental best practice is adopted. Full people management responsibility for the Customer Service team (administration/rental desk) including motivating, developing and performance management. To demonstrate and utilise commercial awareness of the target customer base and provide excellent service and assist with other Customer Service activities when required.

Responsible for ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded as well as designing and instigating changes and improvements to the Customer Service performance, process and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocation of roles and responsibilities within the Customer Service team in conjunction with the R&S Manager
  • Line management and performance responsibility of customer service team
  • Planning and managing the administrative work load to exceed customers’ expectations and maximising staff productivity and efficiency
  • Updating all customers on progress (internal and external customers).
  • Develop and motivate the team ensuring team are following company processes & procedures
  • Complete monthly overtime sheets and submit to payroll monthly
  • Ownership of Health & Safety duties for team
  • Ensuring adequate cover is maintained for holidays and approved absences in the team
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Logging mileages and accurately recording on all job cards.
  • Ensuring computer system is updated throughout the day
  • Dealing with minor workshop damage repairs, following customers’ service level agreements.
  • Oversee area breakdown, tyres/glass, warranty administration compliance.
  • General administration and deputise for R&S Manager when absent
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other operations functions especially workshop departments.

Person Profile

Essential

  • At least 3 years previous experience managing a medium size Customer service call centre & front of house team
  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
  • People/Line management experience
  • IT skills in excel and word.
  • Excellent Customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of in-house database

Desirable

  • Health & Safety qualification
  • Mechanical background in either repair or maintenance control
  • Ability to source information regarding manufactures recommendations on repairs 
  • and legal requirement to ensure all vehicles are road worthy and repair time scales are being achieved
